    Founded in 1973

    The company was founded in 1973 as Midway Tire. As the tire chain business grew to five stores, a separate division, Midway Chain was created to distinguish the two principal products, tires and chains.   In 2005, the chain division was renamed Quality Chain Canada to be a stand-alone brand and become a notable regional distributor and retailer of traction tire chains, By 2011, the company aligned its efforts to become the nation’s most significant wholesaler of traction tire chains under the single brand of QCCanada.

A very proud partner of Boat for Hope

Since 1999, children with special needs and their families have been treated to a day of pirate-themed adventure on the high seas at Boat for Hope, a fundraiser supporting Variety – the Children’s Charity.
