This role focuses on developing existing business, ensuring customer satisfaction, and acquiring new business in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. We are seeking a self-starter with an upbeat attitude to fulfill the needs of this position!

This role focuses on developing existing business, ensuring customer satisfaction, and acquiring new business in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. We are seeking a self-starter with an upbeat attitude to fulfill the needs of this position!
Key Responsibilities
- Sell products to existing customers.
- Communicate regularly with existing customers, building strong rapport, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Respond to customer queries quickly, accurately, and effectively.
- Ensure all customers are kept up to date with current company products, services, pricing, and/or promotional offers.
- Maintain familiarity with customer’s needs, markets, and distribution channels.
- Suggest and promote new products to existing customers.
- Address customer complaints resolving them quickly and effectively.
- Carry out specific sales programs and promotions.
- Collaboratively participate in the development of a strategic sales strategy to acquire and develop new business opportunities.
- Find and contact prospective leads.
- Establish new accounts and market areas as defined in sales objectives.
- Facilitate and coordinate the opening of new accounts.
- Engage in sales activities such as mailing programs, telemarketing, cold calls, and market research as required.
- Ensure all projects are quoted on a timely basis and followed up.
- Report on prospective contacts and provide recommendations.
- Draft proposals and presentations for new clients and business opportunities.
- Maintain customer information in CRM.
- Keep up to date on product knowledge and market trends.
- Provide updates and reports on sales activities to management.
- Keep up-to-date and familiar with accounts.
Qualifications
- Can achieve desired outcomes and objectives through setting goals and priorities to maximize results.
- Detail oriented, customer focused, and highly professional.
- Previous experience with inside/outside sales.
- Previous sales experience within industrial markets is a big asset.
- Ability to successfully build rapport and develop customer relationships.
- Excellent negotiator with a win-win philosophy.
- High degree of competence in written and oral communication.
- Willingness and ability to travel (50%+ travel within the Lower Mainland & Vancouver Island).
- Proven problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Driven, self-starter with superb interpersonal skills.
- Independent but also a team player.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
